So the unthinkable happened on Saturday one of my veneers came loose. What to do? First put it back in place and don’t touch it! (yes this actually worked for about 48 hours). Step two email Bayardo Bolanos at Serway advising what happened and if he can help. He returns my email and asked if I can be at the office noon on Monday! Fabulous. I thank him and ask if possible can I have my teeth cleaned as well. Sure, no problem.
I arrive at the office at 11:45am, he of course gets me in within a couple of house (hey this is all last minute). I have my veneer re cemented and my teeth cleaned. All for a reasonable price of $45. Not bad at all to be honest.
Oh the bus ride back to Cotacachi I am thinking to myself, gosh every time I had my teeth cleaned in North America it was perio scaling, one quadrant at a time to the tune of $150 per (that is $600). So here we are in 2015, I have had my teeth cleaned here in Ecuador since 2012, twice a year. I have never had a dentist recommend or even suggest perio scaling, never.
