As you know power comes and goes here (that is tongue in cheek)
Honestly we have more then our fair share of outages. One way to protect everything (including fridges, TV, computers) is to put them on a UPS. (UPS = uninterrupted power supply)
We brought ours from the US in the container but we didn’t think about replacing batteries before we left. The ones we have are not even sold here and the last outage did them in. They no longer worked – panic!
Dave went into Ibarra and found a car battery supply store – and viola they had what we needed.
