Senior citizens have the right to receive a discount in their tax property. For those who want to obtain and make effective this benefit for the tax property payment of 2012, the local municipality requires you to present the following:
1.- copy of the cedula
2.- a certificate of not owing to the municipality.
You will go to the municipal bldg and right where you pay the water bill, you will ask for :
Certificado de no adeudar al municipio
After you obtain this along with the copy of your cedula, talk to the same guy (with mustache) in the booth and tell him that you want to get:
Descuento de la tercera edad para el impuesto predial del 2012.
These documents will be accepted until the 30th of Nov, ONLY.
