Mindo – must see if its a nice day El Mirador Cacali-La Independencia Road, San Miguel de los Bancos, Ecuador its up the road from Mindo on the left hand side all the outside is covered with hummingbirds, food is fabulous, views awesome and oodles of birds

Yes its true – hard to find reasonable wine is hard here in Ecuador However – did find some at a great shop in Manta (we were just there recently) and they have a store in Quito next trip – make a stop – pricing was excellent and there were bonus bottles when you bought 2 or 3 http://www.lataberna.com.ec/tiendas
