A couple of years ago I was in Ecuador and needed to have documents notarized for use in the USA which included a Power of Attorney to sell my vehicle and sign my tax returns and also a Quit Claim Deed to remove my name from the deed of a piece of property in the USA. I had my lawyer in the USA check it out and he said that anything notarized here will hold up in the States. He said Ecuadorian notaries are recognized in the USA and vice versa.
He drew up the Quit Claim and emailed it to me. I had the POA done here. I had all of the documents notarized here and we did not have any problems.

He only charges $1 per page for ordinary stuff. Some things may cost more. It is pretty fast service, usually in and out.
His office is on the second floor so there is only a doorway on the ground level. It is about three or four doors to the left of Sexy Locuras on Jose Peralta. The doorway is tucked into a corner. There is a big sign on the outside of the second floor.
