Juan Jose Villalengua y Jorge Drom, between Amazonas and Diez de Agosto
Extremely wide selection of fresh produce (all the fruits and vegetables you can dream of), plus stations for fresh meat, poultry, fish (Pescaderia Resbalón is great, the leftmost of the fish shops). Fresh herbs and raw honey are also available (there are a couple small stands between the fruit and vegetable sections that have all sorts of inexpensive herbs). Also has fresh juice stands and small prepared food stations inside. The shops around the outside of the building carry all sorts of products, from dried fruits and nuts to alcohol – good place to find random imported products that can’t be found elsewhere.
